Wind direction accuracy
If you find that the wind direction is consistently incorrect, it may be necessary to calibrate your compass. While the system typically handles this task, there may be instances where additional assistance is required. If the compass still appears inaccurate, it is recommended to wave your device in an ∞ (infinity pattern) several times before you initiate recalibration. If the issue persists, opening the Wind Compass app on iPhones or the Maps app on iPads and activating compass tracking mode may be beneficial.
