If you are on Android 6.0 and above, make sure you have given the app the storage permission. If you have, and they continue to fail, try changing the location that the images get saved to. You can change this from Customization Settings -> MMS Configuration -> Media Download Directory. -> You can change this in Settings > MMS Configuration > Media Download Directory.
